Description
Frankenkong
2008 Ink, Photoshop
Height: 25 feet
Weight: Approx 3 tons
After Denham sells the body of Kong to Dr. Hugo Frankenstein, the mad scientist uses his famous ancestor's method to bring the giant monster back to life. Frankenstein uses the Kong's DNA along with crocodile, human, and Elephant DNA to create his masterwork, "The Prometheus."
Kongs preserved body must be prepped for revival, which involves shaving his head and implanting the famous electrical bolts. The process is a success, and King Kong comes back to life. Dr. Frankenstein implants a small electrochemical device in the back of Kong's skull which allows him to administer painful electric shocks to Kong, thereby allowing him to suppress the King's natural instincts. During his "training" however, Kong develops a sort of father/son type relationship with Carl Denham.
A few months later, Kong is fully healed - his hair grows back, the bolts and stitches are removed, and he takes on a more traditional appearance. Frankenstein creates his Prometheus, and Denham stages a wrestling match between the two.
Enjoy!
