Malproditix, the Betrayers

The Malproditix are a type of demons who were originally the darkest of souls. Only the most willingly vile and destitute during life have the chance to join their ranks. They are called "The Betrayers" as they have turned their backs utterly against mankind and all that is good and pure for a pittance in Hell. Their bodies are permanently twisted and pierced. Each of their movements sends them into unknowable agony, and their only release comes from inflicting the same on others. Although they have earned somewhat of a position of respect in the lower demon hierarchies, most Demon Majors treat them little better than cannon fodder. During the many wars in Hell they are often sacrificed first.
