Sketchdump 2009

Howdy folks.

2009 has been a real good year to me. I consider myself very, very, very lucky that I still have a job that pays decently (got a raise actually,) I'm in good health, and have no debts. A lot of people I know are not so fortunate, so I sincerely thank the powers that be for looking after me.

Anyway, art-wise it's been a great year for me also. Since starting this monster blog thing last February([link]) I've managed one fully rendered, colored piece every single day since. I really didn't think I'd be able to keep up with the one-per-day rule, but since then I've only missed a single day in October. Quite an accomplishment if I do say so myself.

Not everything one sketches out makes the cut, so here's some of the stuff that I haven't developed further into anything. I might do something with the swimming dinosaur, probably redraw it though (that one looks too goofy.) This is by far not everything I've drawn in 2009, have about 20 pages of the sketchbook scanned that I haven't gotten to yet.
